Names List

Here is the list of names that we are considering for baby boy (in no particular order):

Middle name: Solon
Solon is my husband, Joel's middle name and it has been passed down through baby boys on Joel's father's side of the family. Our baby will be the 7th generation with Solon in his name.


If we choose either Alexander or Anthony his first name would be Solon and we would call him by the nick name from his middle name (our last name starts with the letter "s" and it just wouldn't be right to make the initials be A.S.S.) ;) For the other names, Solon would be the middle name.

We aren't planning on picking one before delivery. We want to see what he looks like before deciding on one name. Some ideas for picking the name include folded pieces of paper in a jar or sticking post-it notes with the different names written on each one to baby then holding him in front of a fan. The last post-it still stuck to baby will be the winner. ;) We'll see what happens.
